This year we bring you the theme “A Night at the Colosseum” where the Grand Ballroom at Burswood Entertainment Complex will be transformed into a spectacular Roman amphitheatre presenting guests with an enchanting night of fine dining, wine and entertainment.
Youth Focus’ “Night of Nights” Ball has been acclaimed as one of the top ten social events in Perth. Every year the Ball raises critical funds to assist Youth Focus in the continuation of our services to an increasing number of young people and their families who are dealing with suicidal ideation, depression and self harm.

WHAT WE DO
Youth Focus is a West Australian, non-profit community based organisation working with young people, aged 12 to 18 years, who are showing early signs associated with suicide, depression and self-harm. Youth Focus can also provide services to their families. Youth Focus values young lives by ensuring the emotional well-being of young people, developing their self worth and offering them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
The Youth and Family Services Team comprises of professionally qualified youth and family counsellors with extensive experience working in this specialised area.
Youth Focus is an early intervention and prevention service and does not provide a crisis service. If you are in need of urgent medical or psychological assistance, we recommend you consult your local doctor, the emergency department of Princess Margaret Hospital or Royal Perth Hospital or a specialist mental health provider. You may wish to consider contacting Lifeline on 13 11 14 or Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800 for telephone-based assistance.
WHERE ARE WE LOCATED
In addition to its Burswood office, Youth Focus now has counsellors located on a permanent basis in Albany, Bunbury, Collie, Joondalup, Mandurah, Kwinana and Rockingham. Each office is staffed by a Youth Counsellor who can draw on the resources of our Family Counsellors in Perth. In addition to seeing clients in their offices the counsellors are available for outreach within their catchment area.
To find out more about these services, for yourself or any young person aged between 12 and 18, please contact our Duty Officer on 6266 4333 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday or send an email to Youth Focus. Thanks to all our corporate sponsors and public supporters in these local areas who are continuing to provide support for these fantastic services.
